Day 1 LABUHAN BAJO - RUTENG [L,D] This tour begins at Labuhan Bajo, West Flores. In the morning we drive overland to Ruteng, a cool and small town and also the capital city of the Manggarai Regency where major Manggarainese tribes dwell. On the way, stops will be made at Lembor and Cancar where you can enjoy the beautiful backdrop panorama of rice fields and lush hills. Other places may be visited according to local events. Upon arrival, we will check-in at the Hotel Dahlia or similar. Afterwards, we will pay a visit to Ruteng Puu - a Manggarainese traditional village, to see their unique slanted houses and meet with local people before returning to the hotel. |
