Day 01 ARRIVAL [D] Arrival at Banjarmasin airport, transfer by minibus to hotel, welcome service. Banjarmasin city tour. Dinner and overnight at hotel. Day 02 BANJARMASIN - PANGKALANBUN - TANJUNG PUTTING [BLD] Drive by minibus to the airport for flight to Pangkalanbun. From Pangkalanbun airport transfer by minibus to Kumai Town and continue by boat on the Sekonyer river to Tanjung Putting National Park. On arrival at Tanjung Putting, sight seeing around the National Park. Visit camp Leakey, the head quarters of the Orang Utan research and rehabilitation center. The Orang Utans generally emerge out of the forest in the late afternoon, 03.00 - 04.00 pm for feeding. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Tanjung Harapan. |

South Kalimantan is one of Indonesia’s Provinces on Kalimantan Island (Borneo). Entirely within the tropics, it lies on the equator with temperatures from 18C up to 36C in the lowland and 10C up to 23C in the mountain areas. The total land area is 37,000 square kilometers, crossed by many big and small rivers and, that’s why it’s called “The Island of Thousand Rivers”. The rivers are dominant means of transportation and commercial activities, although roads and motor ways have alsobeen built linking towns and villages. Banjarmasin is the capital of the province. |
