Bisnis Indonesia reports that Spanish carrier Gadair European Airlines is seeking to establish air service between Spain and Indonesia. The Indonesian Ambassador to Spain, Slamet Santoso Mustafa, said Gadair is seeking traffic rights to both Jakarta and Denpasar (Bali) via international flights departing from the Spanish capital of Madrid.

This tour is designed to give visitors an insight into how the Balinese people traditionally cultivate their rice fields. Visitors may take part in this “muddy work” if they like, and experience in person, the hard work of a Balinese farmer.

Depart to a local village to observe the local people at work in the rice fields, using their simple traditional tools (modern equipment is generally not suitable, due to the small size of the rice fields).  There will also be an opportunity to watch the farmer in his house and to observe the local people in their daily life.

A scenic westward drive through the lush rice-terraced countryside brings you to Pupuan, a village with many coffee plantations. Proceed down to the coast of Teluk Terima, famous for the legendary Jayaprana and his faithful wife Layonsari. You will pass through the wildlife reserve of the Bali Barat National Park to Gilimanuk, a ferry harbour  on the western tip of the island and Negara, the capital of the region. Pura Rambutsiwi, an ancient temple, located on the beach side, is dedicated to the God of the sea.
